Can you believe how fast the year has gone by? All the baby birds have left their nests, kids are going back to school and before you know it the leaves will be changing color. The time is right to make another trip to Red Butte while there are still flowers in bloom.

Pearly Everlasting   Anaphalis margaritacea

This darling Utah Native is blooming along the upper Floral Walk.

Japanese Anemone    Anemone x hybrida   'Honorine Jobert'

Japanese Anemone    Anemone x hybrida  'Königin Charlotte'

These two Anemones are showing off under the Pear Arbors.

Birch Leaf Mountain Mahogany    Cercoarpus montanus

The hairy fruits of this Mahogany glisten in the morning light.

Sacred Datura    Datura wrightii

Utah's largest native flower can be found growing in the Fragrance Garden and on the Floral Walk.

Gaura    Gaura lindheimeri 'Whirling Butterflies'

These delicate looking flowers are actually very tough and water-wise.

Swamp Hibiscus   Hibiscus coccineus

Be on the lookout for our giant-flowered hibiscus in various locations at the Garden.
