Flowers are in Session

School is in session for many, and so are the flowers! Just because school has started does not mean that summer is over. Visiting the Garden may be just the break you need from school or work.

Water Saver Terrace
Red Hot Poker Planting     Water Pavilion

A mixture of Kniphofia cultivars 'Papaya Popsicle', 'Lemon Popsicle', and 'Mango Popsicle'. A combination to stop anyone in their tracks.

Rose Sage
Munchkin Fire Hosta Hosta 'Munchkin Fire'

These flowers can be seen in the 3rd Wayside.

Sacred Datura
Sacred Datura     Datura wrightii

I was able to catch a photo of this flower before it closed for the day. It is a night bloomer.

Black-eyed Susan
Black-eyed Susan     Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm'

Doesn't this make a wonderful sea of yellow? This would make a great spot for a picnic.

Blue Blazes Hyssop
Blue Blazes Hyssop     Agastache 'Blue Blazes'

These flowers are a sight to behold. The whole plant looks like it is glowing in the sun, and it is also buzzing with bees.

It's the weekend, so go ahead and put your homework or work down and head up to Red Butte Garden for a lesson on natures beauty!
