Inside the Orangerie

Submitted September 25, 2008 at 11:58 AM

So far I've taken pictures and blogged about various places around our gardens, but never anything inside our buildings.

We have a collection of plants in our greenhouse that we rotate throughour Orangerie to keep it beautiful. Since they require a warmer climate to survive, the only place you can see them is in the Orangerie. So next time you're here, be sure to take a look inside.

Bougainvillea Bougainvillea sp.

Imperial Blue Cape Leadwort Plumbago auriculata 'Imperial Blue'

Christmas Palm Normanbya merrillii

Croton Croton sp.

Hibiscus Hibiscus sp.

I would like to thank my volunteers Vickie and Marcie for helping me with some of the photography this week and also a big thanks to Scott for A) Keeping the plants looking awesome and B) Helping me get the names right for the blog.

Stay tuned for more updates.....I'm going to do better at updating, I promise.
