As the heat of summer continues, so does the beauty and variety of the Garden. Now is a great time to explore some of the late summer blooms and fruits we have on display throughout the Garden. Whether you are looking for inspiration for your own garden or a pleasant escape, take time for a visit to Red Butte Garden today.

Sacred Datura   Datura wrightii

The large, showy white blooms of the Datura plant, along with their twirled flower buds and spiky fruit, make a strong statement in any garden.

Fernbush   Chamaebatiaria millefolium

Large spikes of white blooms above airy, fern-like leaves decorate this water-wise Utah native.

Mountain Fleeceflower     Persicaria amplexicaule 'Firetail'

This spreading perennial has attractive foliage that explodes with delicate stalks of fuchsia flower heads in the summer.

Pleasure Rose     Rosa  'JACpif'

Clusters of fully-double, coral pink flowers with lighter undersides bloom continuously and profusely through the summer on this rose.

Iceplant    Delosperma cooperi

A great choice for a water-wise groundcover, this succulent has almost irradescent, bright pink flowers that attract pollinators and people alike.

Mollie-the-witch    Paeonia mlokosewitschii

Attractive creamy flowers in the spring lead to bizarre and striking fruits in late summer on this Peony.

These are just an appetizer of the beauty and variety available for your viewing pleasure at the Garden. Many blooms are just about to open, including the lovely anemones, pie-weed and sedum.
