Let's Pollinate

The heat is on and pollinators are busy visiting as many flowers as they can.

Butterfly Weed
Butterfly Weed   Asclepias tuberosa

This species is attractive to both butterflies and bees.

Farewell to Spring   Clarkia amoena

Although only an annual, these magenta flowers are show stoppers.

Illumination Flame Foxglove   Digitalis 'Illumination Flame'

Look closely and you can see the back end of a Bumble Bee.

Shrubby Penstemon   Penstemon ambiguus

This Utah native produces pink and purple flowers on top of thin, grass-like stalks.

Swallowtail Butterfly

Butterflies of all types really love milkweed plants.

Beaked Yucca   Yucca rostrata

Tree yuccas can give a water-wise garden an almost tropical feel.

Blue Charm Speedwell   Veronica 'Blue Charm'

Look for these bee magnets at the top of the Four Seasons Garden.

Pollinators are all around the Garden. See how many you can find on your next visit.
