Purple Maiden Grass
Purple Maiden Grass     Miscanthus sinensis 'Purpurascens'

Fall really knows how to bring out the grasses. The inflorescence of this grass sparkles in the sunlight.

Korean Barberry
Korean Barberry     Berberis koreana

This is just one of the many red-fruited plants on show for fall.

Joint Fir
Joint Fir     Ephedra regeliana

While many plants are turning dull in color, this plant certainly stands out with it's grayish-blue year round color.

China Snow® Lilac
China Snow® Lilac     Syringa pekinensis 'Morton'

Unlike the first picture above of the cactus, this tree is all bark and no bite.

Don't let the colder weather keep you locked up at home, come get some sun and fresh air at Red Butte Garden, your senses will rejoice.
