It's summer, it's about to be a holiday weekend, and the Garden is open to the public... Time to social distance in the Garden!


Butterfly Weed
Butterfly Weed    Asclepias tuberosa

A unique Milkweed with it's orange colored flowers.


Fendler's Sundrops
Fendler's Sundrops    Calylophus hartwegii ssp. fendleri

The flowers appear for one day, but the plant continues to produce new blooms. They open at night and start fading the next day.


Red Osier Dogwood
Red Osier Dogwood    Cornus sericea

The fruits of this Utah native shrub are attractive to birds.


Daylily
Daylily    Hemerocallis 'Mean Mr. Mustard'

Just one of our many gorgeous Daylily cultivars. You'll have to visit to see the others!

This cultivar displays much larger blooms than the straight species.
