Winter Wonderland!

Winter has finally graced us with its presence and what a present it is! Come see a different side of the garden, one that is covered in snow!

The snow has brought some magnificent scenes to be seen! This is the stream near the Rose Garden as viewed from the bridge.

European Cranberrybush Viburnum    Viburnum opulus 'Xanthocarpum'

At the top of the Floral Walk, this bush's fruit is hanging on for dear life!

Nootka Cypress    Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Pendula'

Hey Cypress! What unique cones you have! Come check them out in the Rose Garden.

Common Spindle Tree    Euonymus europaeus 'Red Cascade'

Along the Floral Walk, this pink fruit capsule just doesn't want to let go.

Joshua Tree    Yucca brevifolia

While near the Sprout House roof, check out this Utah Native engulfed in snow!

In winter we tend to want to stay indoors where it is warm. However, exercise is good for us, so come warm up with a walk in a winter wonderland! It's a scene you do not want to miss!
