Flowers, fruit, leaves, insects, and cooler weather! Thanks to Fall, Red Butte Garden has it all! Now is a good time to visit the Garden to see plants in all various life stages.

Zagreb Tickseed    Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb'

This little beauty can be seen in the Rose Garden.

Rose Garden

As you can see, the Rose Garden is still blooming with color. Don't believe me or this photo? Come visit the Rose Garden to see for yourself and be prepared to be delighted!

Japanese Maple    Acer palmatum 'Sangokaku'

It's a wasp! It's a bee! No wait, it's a fly! It's a bee mimic fly! This harmless fly is able to appear dangerous thanks to it's clever imitation of a bee.

Maple Leaf Alumroot    Heuchera villosa 'Autumn Bride'

Now this is a bee. In comparison to the previous photo, can you see the difference? Despite the cooler weather, this plant is still buzzing with bees.

Engagement Garden

Beautiful contrasting leaf colors are developing all over the Garden, especially in the Engagement Garden. Stay tuned though, as Fall progresses the colors will get much more vibrant.

Curl-leaf Mountain Mahogany   Cercocarpus ledifolius

A seed with a twist! The fuzzy and twisted tail on this Utah native's seed makes it easier for the wind to disperse.

Copper Spine Prickly Pear    Opuntia littoralis var. martiniana

What amazingly bright and edible fruit this cactus has! The Fall show is not one you want to miss, so don't delay your visit to the Garden any longer.
