So Long June

There is only one week left of June and it certainly shows here in the Garden. There is an abundance of blooms as well as a large Lego® display throughout the Garden. Come see it for yourself!
Showy Milkweed Asclepias speciosa
This Lego® statue in the background portrays the importance of Milkweed to the survival of the Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus). You can see both the real plant and the Lego® version up close and personal in the Wildflower Meadow!
Brakelights® Red Yucca Hesperaloe parviflora 'Perpa'
What beautiful bright flowers this plant displays! It can be seen at the bottom of the Water Conservation Garden.
Velvet Cloak Smokebush Cotinus coggygria 'Velvet Cloak'
This picture does not do this large shrub justice. It is showing off right now in the Four Seasons Lawn.
Oriental Poppy Papaver 'Princess Victoria Louise'
Not only were the flowers delightful, but now is the fruits time to shine. It can be seen at the bottom of the Water Conservation Garden.
Praying Mantis Lego® Statue
It's a giant praying mantis! You can see it along the Floral Walk.
