Spring Equinox

Submitted March 20, 2019 at 12:00 PM

Tonight is the spring equinox, which marks the beginning of spring, and the Garden seems to be on the same page. Come see what spring has brought!

Sieber's Crocus
Sieber's Crocus     Crocus sieberi ssp. sublimis 'Tricolor'

These may be small but your eyes will be drawn to their charm in the Water Conservation Garden.

Dwarf Iris
Dwarf Iris     Iris reticulata

These intensely blue/purple flowers can be seen throughout the Garden.

Daffodil
Daffodil     Narcissus 'Rijnvelds Early Sensation'

Our daffodil display has begun! If you haven't seen our famous collection before, I suggest making it a priority.

Coralberry
Variegated Coralberry     Symphoricarpos orbiculatus 'Follis Variegatis'

These fruits have hung on all winter long!

Winter Aconite

There aren't many places you can beat this view! Look at that clean fresh air!

Head up to the Garden to celebrate the spring equinox and breathe some fresh air while you're at it!
