It's the last day of July and the bees are working hard to meet their pollen quota!

Cardoon
Cardoon     Cynara cardunculus 'Rouge d'Alger'

This plant sure has the bees attention! This vibrant edible plant is in Desert Harvest Garden in the Water Conservation Garden.

Red Rocks® Penstemon
Red Rocks® Penstemon     Penstemon x mexicali 'Red Rocks'

Can you spot the bee? This bright flowered beauty can be seen in the Water Conservation Garden.

Rose of Sharon
Rose of Sharon     Hibiscus syriacus 'Diana'

Check out the cute sweat bee! This is not the first time I have seen them on this shrub in the Herb Garden.

Chaste Tree
Chaste Tree     Vitex agnus-castus

This bee-licious shrub has been used to improve the reproductive system. See it in the Herb Garden.

Wavyleaf Thistle
Wavyleaf Thistle     Cirsium undulatum

This Utah native thistle seems to 'bee' the talk of the town. Check it out in the Rain Garden of the Water Conservation Garden.

White Chiffon Rose of Sharon
White Chiffon Rose of Sharon     Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwood Two'

The bees sure love these semi-double white blooms.

Come see what all the bees are buzzing about!
